Our aim is to create an authentic experience, right in the heart of Auckland city.
Inspired by the simple yet intricate process of New York bagels, we set out to bring them to your corner of the world.
Our dough is carefully mixed, shaped and placed in a chilled environment overnight, to prove slowly. They are poached to give them the signature chewy outside, and soft middle. Then baked and served fresh, every day.
Our boutique store sits in front of our bagelry, offering a unique view of the process and a range of filled bagels. From the classics, to our own quirky creations, enjoy with Kōkako's Fairtrade Organic Specialty coffee.
All of our bagels (except for cheese ones!) are 100% vegan and we use all free range products.
We don't put any preservatives, chemicals or nasties in our bagels.
Bagel Love is inspired by traditional New York bagels. Before baking, we boil them in a special brew then bake to get that chewy outside and soft middle.
24 HOUR FERMENTATION
Our bagels go through a 24-hour fermentation process. This makes them easier to digest, gentler on the stomach and delivers a richer flavour.
